The teacher was furious at a child who is barely at the age of 8 when it drank from a drinking fountain meant for higher class students. Out of thirst and hunger, he forgot about the rule of the institution, the rule that segregates the rich from the poor. This rule governed the lives of their ancestors, and is governing their lives, and will continue to govern the lives of the future generations.

There are classifications of citizens in this nation, based on who your parents and ancestors are. These societal ranking system have had many names and terminologies over the years, changed to please the lower classes to provide the illusion of equality. The reality is that all of them are just a cover for keeping the system in place.

High class citizens from previous generations, namely religious leaders, preachers, keepers of ancient knowledge and such are considered the highest among them all. Nowadays they are called Omega class citizens. Next to them are technically the 2nd highest citizens but still is still highly regarded and treated with utmost respect such as doctors, lawyers, politicians, businessmen, educated or uneducated people who were born from high class parents, they are called Alpha class.

Another level is the middle class who are not of the two categories but is still considered a useful tool for society, they are called Beta class. Then there are the lowest level of society with which is often said that a dead rat is higher than them, not because they are bad people, but because they were born with the wrong family name. They were not given the priviledge of having an official name in the class system, but people still gave them an unofficial name, they are called, _______.
